Purpose: This exercise helps build your core strength and back strength. These muscles are important for your posture and your body control while you are running, throwing, and swimming, to name a few.

How to do it:

* Start by lying on your stomach with both arms extended out in front of you and both legs extended behind you.

* Lift both arms and both legs up off the ground at the same time.

* Hold for 1 or 2 seconds then return back down to the ground. Repeat 20 times. 

* -OR- hold for 30 seconds. Repeat 2 times.
