Purpose: This exercise will help to improve your arm and leg coordination. It will strengthen your back and hip muscles and challenge your balance. See if you can hold a TV remote control on your back while doing this exercise.

How to do it:

* Start on your hands and knees.

* Slowly extend your right hand in front of your head and your left leg behind your body. Then return to the starting position.

* Switch to your opposite arm and opposite leg, and keep alternating.

* This works on your core strength, so it is important to keep your stomach tight and try to keep your balance as you switch back and forth from left to right.
