For Boys & Girls | Ages 5-13

​

This family event is designed to be a fun introduction to the sport of Track & Field. Enjoy a festive atmosphere with music, raffles, bake sales, and more! Events will focus on running, jumping and throwing skills and will be modified for age, safety and FUN!

​

  • Children are taught the basics of each event at a series of learning stations using fun drills and modified equipment. Each station will culminate in a mini-competition where kids can try out their new skills!

  • Events include: sprint and relay races, low hurdles, softball toss, nerf javelin, long jump and vertical leap.

  • We'll have plenty of time for dance breaks and other fun between activities!

Adults:

  • Socialize with your friends while the kids are learning.

  • Coffee and baked goods will be available for purchase.

  • Are you a runner? Do you want to start running? A certified running coach and physical therapist will be on hand to answer your questions!

This event is sponsored by the Noah Wallace PTO in cooperation with Farmington Recreation. Proceeds from the event will go to the Noah Wallace PTO to fund school initiatives and educational programs.
